International cooperation. How to start it well? FEEL INVITED TO THE EUROPEAN CONFERENCE! Kraków, Poland, 21 – 22 of September 2020**
It is our pleasure to invite all interested in international cooperation and lifelong learning to the international conference valorising the key outcomes of the “First-time international projects realisers support network” project.
The Conference will take place 21 - 22 of September 2020 at The Guest House of the Tyniec Abbey in Tyniec (next to Kraków). The conference starts at 1 pm September 21st and ends at 3 pm September 22nd.
The aim of the conference is to capitalise the 2 – year long cooperation of five civil society organisations from five European countries: Poland, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Denmark.
During the conference the following main outcomes of the project will be presented and discussed:
- The Multilateral Survey Report on good practices and success stories at supporting international projects managers in the adult education civil society organisations.
- The Multilateral Research Report on key competences of international project managers in the adult education civil society.
- The ‘SUPPORT PORTAL’ for the first time international projects realisers.
- The mentoring and e-mentoring system for the first-time international project realisers.
- The training course curricula and open educational resources for the first time international projects realisers.
Last but not least, during the conference, a network of civil society organizations representing the adult education sector – The FIRST Network - will be presented. The aim of the FIRST Network will be to contribute to strengthening the capacity of these organizations to work internationally, enhancing innovativeness and the ability to adapt to changes in the modern world.

NEW FAIE’S PROJECT: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGERS COMPETENCES RECOGNITION AND VALIDATION FOR LIFELONG LEARNING (AER-V)!
The main challenge the project addresses is little support available for recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences of international project managers active in Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the adult education sector, acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning.
The overall aim is to support recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences of international project managers active in Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the adult education sector, acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning.
The direct target group of the project includes the members, workers, co-workers, educators and volunteers of the Third Sector adult education organisations (i.e. Civil Society Organisations, including informal groups, Non-governmental organisations and other non-profit organisations).
The project flow is based on several transnational meetings aiming at good practices and experiences exchange. The project also includes a short-term joint staff training event - Structured Democratic Dialogue Co-laboratory.
As a result there will be recommendations for international project managers competences recognition and validation for lifelong learning developed.
AER-V is an element of a long-term strategic plan of the project core partners, aiming at delivering sustainable support for international cooperation of the adult learning sector CSOs.

The Partnership of the “First-time international project realisers support network” finalised the research stage of the project in August 2019. You may now learn the results of the international research in the fields of: success stories and challenges in the field of international projects realisation and the key competences for international projects managers active in the civil society organisations, adult education sector.

The research was realised in Poland, Italy, Hungary, Denmark and Austria in the spring 2019. It consisted of on-line questionnaire and interviews. The research respondents were over 200 managers and management bodies members of the civil society organisations active in the field of lifelong learning.
The research reports are available in 6 languages: Polish, Italian, Hungarian, Danish, German and English.
The research results constitute basis for designing the following offer, dedicated to first-time international project managers and management bodies of the organisations interested in initiating international, partnership cooperation:
1. National and international training courses.
2. Mentoring and e-mentoring system.
3. Internet portal gathering all the relevant information concerning international projects management in one place.
3. International Support Network.
The offer will be available, beginning from the autumn 2019 – by summer 2020. The recruitments will be announced separately.

The project’s other purpose is to establish a European network supporting the initiation, planning and realisation of partnerships as well as European cooperation in the field of life-long learning.

The day of 25th of January 2019 there will be an international conference "ABOUT EUROPE - CREATIVELY. To live – to learn – to be socially and politically active – to work" taking place in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
The aim of the conference is to present the offer of the MyEUPortal, which aim is to gather and organize (under one internet address) information from across Europe to help people better understand the rights they have as EU citizens when living in EU countries other than their own, making the information useful and universally accessible.
